Is Gaming A Cheap Hobby?

Playing video games is one of the best experiences you can have in life and just like reading a book it allows you to enter and explore fantastic open worlds but many good things in life aren't free unfortunately and while not entirely free video games are cheaper then ever and this leads us to ask is gaming a cheap hobby to have? Can someone who has never played a video game start playing video games at a low entry cost in comparison to other hobbies he might be interested in starting for example scuba diving, mountain climbing  or traveling?  The birth of the Steam market was the birth of a new era and it would became associated with gaming as much as Nintendo or PlayStation. With it's huge sales no longer would gaming be considered expensive. Gamers, kids, and adults alike in countries were pirating games was the norm would suddenly have an affordable option at their fingertips to experience what the western world had known for a while. The experience of being able to downlo

Is Fall Guys Dying?

Is Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout dying or a dying video game? First for those who don't know Fall Guys launched last month to knockout sales and immense popularity. Big YouTube personalities such as PewdiePie, Mr Beast, and DrDisrespect went on to popularize the game by doing game play streams and videos on it. This cute, colorful, multiplayer game went on to quickly sell over 7 million copies on Steam and became the most downloaded game on the PlayStation Plus store. With these kind of sales numbers it is hard to see the game loosing steam or popularity any time soon.  For those who are new to the game it is a platformer game where you take control of a cute little jelly bean looking guy and try to avoid the obstacles in your way and make it to the end of the level. It sounds like a simple concept but it is incredibly fun to play.  But what do the numbers say,

Fall Guys Is Not A Fad

Last month a new game was released by Devolver Digital called Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. A colorful little multiplayer party game with mini-games where you are a Fall Guy competing in little games with others that involve moving on platforms and avoiding obstacles. Fall Guys has broken many records and has become incredibly popular thou. It has sold 7 million copies on Steam and is now the most downloaded game on PlayStation Plus. It is incredible how a small indie game has been able to achieve such numbers and such fame. Twitch has also been a platform where the game has rose in popularity and spiraled the game into stardom. Twitch streamers have been streaming the game nonstop with average viewer counts in the hundreds of thousand at any given time.  Which brings me to the fact that many people have been saying that Fall Guys is a fad game and will fall away in a month. Well a month later and the game is still going strong with 150,000 average player count on Steam at any given ti
